Office Hours: The office is open Monday thru Thursday 9:00 am- 3:00 p.m for walk-ins. Appointments are available Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 am - 6:oo p.m.
To schedule an appointment, call the city office during normal business hours or email the city recorder at [email protected]. The office is closed on all federal and state holidays. When a holiday falls on a weekend, the office will be closed either on the proceeding Friday or Monday.

Building Department
A building permit gives you legal permission to start construction of a building project in accordance with a set of approved drawings and specifications.
- A permit is required for all new construction, remodels, accessory buildings, sheds, garages, finishing of a basement, decks, solar, fencing, pools, sport courts, driveway reconfigurations or placements, rock or retaining walls over 4 feet, changes in electrical service and/or gas lines.
- Building applications will be reviewed after a complete application is submitted with all of the required documentation and the required deposit is paid. Submittal requirements and instructions can be found under Permit Checklist’s

Storm Water Runoff
Stormwater is water from rain of melting snow that does not soak into the ground. Rain and snowmelt wash pollutants from streets, construction sites, and land into storm sewers and ditches.
