Phase 2 of the Pavement Preservation Project- Starts Tomorrow

Starting Tuesday (9/16), crews will be working on city roads as part of Phase 2 of our pavement preservation project.

Phase 2 is a two-part project. Tuesday 9/16 through Thursday 9/18, the crews will be grinding off two inches of the existing asphalt on the roads. The week of 9/22 through 9/26, the crews will be placing two inches of new asphalt. Traffic will be permitted to drive on the roads between grinding and paving.

Work will take place throughout the day, and it will vary for each road. The roads may be full closures or partial closures depending on the work taking place. There will be traffic control signs and notices as needed to help traffic flow.
